Venezia..
Venezia. God must have made that place just for me. It truly opened my eyes to the beauty of Europe itself. By far my favorite place from our journey so far. Breath-takingly beautiful. A city built around water. The Grand Canal actually runs directly through the city. It's truly stunning. I walked off the train, feeling like I was walking onto a movie set. If you have ever seen The Tourist, some of the Tomb Raiders or played Assassins Creed, that's really how it looks! The architecture, the buildings, the food, the streets, it all screams Italy. If I were to ask you all to picture the perfect Italy in your head right now, Venice is what you would picture. It truly was amazing, I cannot wait to visit again. No one drives in Venice, there are no cars. Simply boats and your feet. It really allows everyone to embrace the city. Walking on the wet, sea sprayed, cobble stone streets, air filled with that salty, misty, feeling. Everyone on their own sheet of music, different languages being spoken on every corner. People from all across the world, coming to enjoy the beautiful sights of Venice.
We were very blessed over the holidays to have my grandparents from Seattle come and visit us for a few weeks! They were here about 2 weeks and it felt like 4 days! They've been gone only a day and it feels like they've already been gone way too long. I miss them already. It was very nice to speak English and just laugh and let go. Can't wait for our next visitors to come, my Grandma (my mom's mom) and my mom's Aunt as well! We are very excited to give them the Italian tour. Though Corey and I have prepared ourselves that we will likely see the same museums so many times that, we will be more educated than the people working there. Corey and I have already been inside of the Cathedral downtown at least 3 times. :) Beautiful, let me tell ya! But I have a feeling by the 10th or 12th time we might find ourselves sitting on the bench waiting outside. ;) No really though, I am enjoying Italy. The art, the architecture, the history, the people, the food, the culture, it's really life changing. I can't wait to bring some of the ways of life with me back to America.
Italy, has really brought out my love for photography. The way you can capture a moment in a photograph, the way such a simple thing can be made to look so artistic. It's a new hobby, I've come to love! Is there any of you who would like me to post some of my pictures on here?? Let me know! I know alot of you are on facebook and can see them there but I'm not sure if any of you are not, and would still like to see some of the photos from the journeys! Comment and let me know!
I still love and miss you all! kiss kiss. <3

Venice sounds like my kind of place. You did a great job describing the setting, and for a brief moment, I was there.
