Why is that car going the wrong way on the FREEWAY!?!?!

Ah, we have arrived, in uhm...well...the UK/The United Kingdom/ England/Great Britain, it's all the same! So you can call it whatever your heart desires! As Churchill once stated, we're two country's separated by a common language.  We may speak the same language but we are defintely far from the same! While we drive on the right (yes, right as in right/wrong;) they drive on the left! And as we all have seen in the movies they actually have their steering wheels on what would be our "passenger side", the right side. So, as our plane landed, and we collected our baggage, we saw our nice British driver standing with the sign with our name on it. Once again yes like the movies. But as we approached the car..and he went to the passenger side, I kinda wondered if he was expecting one of us to drive ourselves to our hotel. Alright, Alright, I'm totally exaggerating but it did take my brain a second to remember, that that is normal!

First we started in Cambridge which was absolutely beautiful, very old buildings, with lots of Universities! This adventure is definitely a photographers dream! And the accent all of us Americans have attempted to impersonate at one time or another is just about accurate. (: Corey is perfecting his British accent. And I’m estimating I will fill a 4 gb memory card in my camera in about 2 weeks! Lol.

Oh, oh, oh, the food!! Alright…no where near Milan! More like stuffed pigs belly, with “mushy peas”. Yes they actually called it “mushy peas”.  Did you just vomit your last meal, hearing that??? Blah! Me too! How about, “game pie” or “homemade chutney w/ pickles”, do you have any idea what that actually is??? I don’t either! Absolutely repulsive sounding! So, needless to say I have been staying away from the English food. Trying to keep with American, Chinese, Italian, anything I can find but what they serve in British restaurants!

But the land itself is beautiful nothing like anything we have in the states! And the weather is well….freezing! Sunny and freezing! I lalala love the temperatures.(: nothing like Phoenix that’s for sure! But I do miss you all! Can’t wait to see you all again! But as one of my closest, confidants said to me, Enjoy it while you can because someday you will be looking back and it will just be a memory. And she is right, so as I am here, I am trying to enjoy every minute of it, because before I know it I will be looking back realizing how wonderful of an opportunity it was. Couldn’t be more blessed. Miss you guys! **hugs**
